"Dear members of ISKCON!
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! All glories to the Previous Acharyas! All glories to the divine appearance day of Lord Sri Krishna!
I have been asked to speak a few words on the occasion of Lord Krishna’s appearance day; Krishna Janmastami. Just now some of you are distributing books, some are taking care of the Deities, some are chanting, some are cooking, in all different parts of the world. As members of ISKCON, we are all parts of Srila Prabhupada’s body, the transcendental body made of loving service to the Supreme Couple Sri Sri Radha-Krishna. As long as the focus, for everyone of us is to please Srila Prabhupada’s desire, the limbs of His Divine Grace’s body will work cooperatively and harmoniously. This means that Srila Prabhupada will be satisfied with our offering of loving service that he can bring to Krishna’s lotus feet. As we know, Srila Prabhupada’s satisfaction means Krishna’s satisfaction which is our only substance in our devotional life and hope of seeing Krishna face to face.
Krishna’s appearance is the best occasion for uniting our hearts and senses in devotional service. Seeing us dwelt in, into that fully absorbed devotional service, Krishna will undoubtedly shower His mercy at Srila Prabhupada and in turn the mercy will fall on us as rivulets of nectar however many obstacles and misunderstandings may be there on our devotional path. And in this age of Kali there is no dearth of such obstacles. If we stay tight together at Prabhupada’s lotus feet, Krishna will destroy all inauspiciousness and we shall be able to celebrate Krishna’s appearance in our heart, every day of our life.
So, thank you very much! Please pray that I may remain engaged in your service, in the service of ISKCON, life after life.
Sri Krishna Janmastami ki jaya!"
