Prabhupada Nectar
It is in the hands of you big guns to manage everything so that there may never be internal difficulties amongst us, so that we may always go on increasing more & more the influence of Lord Caitanya's philosophy of Sankirtana process upon all the world

Letter to Bali-mardana -- Calcutta 5 March, 1972

I have received the small booklet Transcendental Teachings of Prahlada Maharaja also. It is very nice, and it is just to the point for our ISKCON Press. You are very well suited to make endless numbers of this type of small booklet and I am very much pleased to understand how nicely you are doing it. Now if you are also able to increase our distribution at the same time, then this will be the success of our Krishna Consciousness Movement, to print and distribute profusely, side by side. We had got some indication from Karandhara Prabhu that there was some misunderstanding and things were not going too well between you both big leaders, that is why I was little concerned because such things should never be allowed to fructify within our Society, that will spoil everything. But I am glad to hear from you that because there was some misinformation that we had got the wrong impression, and actually that everything is progressing in a spirit of mutual cooperation in all respects. This is Krishna Consciousness. Working together to please the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Practically now it is in the hands of you big guns to manage everything so that there may never be internal difficulties amongst us, and so that we may always go on increasing more and more the influence of Lord Caitanya's philosophy of Sankirtana process upon all the world. That will be your great achievement, and if you go on helping me in this way, you may know it for certain that very soon you will see Krishna face-to-face. In short words, I am very much fond of these booklets, now go on increasing.

Statement Regarding Unfounded Poison Allegations
Statement Regarding Unfounded Poison Allegations

The recently resurfaced poison allegations regarding the disappearance of Srila Prabhupada rely on the same inconclusive sources cited over the past two decades: much-debated audio recordings and an analysis of hair samples.

These claims have already been extensively reviewed, with no conclusive findings to support the theory. In addition, the statements of Srila Prabhupada’s immediate caregivers at the time highlight the implausibility of such allegations.

The Magic Of Gratitude
The Magic Of Gratitude

By Sacinandana Swami

Devotees of Krishna meditate about things they can be grateful for. They avoid thinking about all those things that they do not have, nor all those arrangements that have not worked out. Instead they focus on what has been given to them – all the opportunities that arrive each day upon their doorsteps, all the relationships that have encouraged them and last but not least, the human form of life, which offers them a unique opportunity for self-realization. Thus, they cover themselves each new morning in the warming mantle of gratitude and feel empowered.

Physical deprivation versus spiritual absorption
Physical deprivation versus spiritual absorption

By Chaitanya Charan Das

When practicing spiritual life, we may equate spiritual advancement with denying our bodily needs such as sleep. We may deprive ourselves of sleep to demonstrate our spiritual advancement. However, spiritual advancement centers not on physical deprivation, but on spiritual absorption. To grow spiritually, we need to become conscious of our own spiritual identity and of the supreme spiritual reality, Krishna. The more we become lovingly absorbed in Krishna, the more we advance spiritually.

Sri Krishna and the Original Sporting Propensity
Sri Krishna and the Original Sporting Propensity

By Sarvabhauma Dasa

Why are sports so popular? According to Vaishnava teachings, everything here, including the sporting propensity, is an imperfect or distorted reflection of the original, blissful activities of all-attractive Lord Sri Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Unfortunately, although in this material realm sports may be attractive, their charm is illusory. We can’t enjoy the Real Thing here. At best we can try to squeeze pleasure out of a perverted representation, like a mirage in the desert. When it comes to genuine, pure fun or sport, Lord Krishna is the unrivaled...

A lecture by Dr. Richard L. Thompson (Sadaputa Dasa)

History of Western Science and Mechanistic Theories

Srimad Bhagavatam 3.9.3
Alachua, Florida 8/15/1995

In this comprehensive lecture, Sadaputa Dasa (Dr. Richard L. Thompson) surveys 350 years of western science, emphasizing four basic, successive paradigms: 1) the clockwork universe of Leibniz, 2) the universe as a “dumb machine” embraced by Charles Darwin et. al., 3) quantum mechanics, which he considers to be an analytic form of Idealism, and 4) the artificial intelligence movement, where mind equals machine and consciousness is simply imaginary. Amidst these shifting versions of scientific reality, might we conclude that the Ultimate Cause is by nature inconceivable?
