Food For Life Hungary’s “Christmas Love Feast” Feeds Thousands This Holiday Season
 

During an especially challenging holiday season, the Food For Life Foundation in Hungary is bringing some care and support with its Christmas Love Feast prasadam distribution effort, from December 8th to 27th.

In previous years, Food For Life would hold a massive event in the capital city of Budapest, giving out thousands of meals over three days. However this year amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, volunteers are instead distributing food at over twenty different outdoor locations to smaller numbers of people at each one, facilitating social distancing and keeping everyone safe.

Dear God-family, disciples and well wishers of H.H. Jayapataka Swami
Maharaja,

We would like to inform the ISKCON community that HH Jayapataka Swami, Guru Maharaja has been tested positive for Covid-19 this evening. At the moment Guru Maharaja does not have any symptoms but the doctors and the Seva-Committee are having an emergency meeting to decide on a plan of action for treatment and if it is necessary to move Guru Maharaja to a hospital.

We kindly request all disciples and well wishers to pray to Lord Krsna for
the well being of Guru Maharaja and many servants who also tested positive.
Health updates will be posted regularly so that all of you are well informed.
